Big Canoe is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in north central Georgia. Living between 1,500 and 3,000 ft in elevation, we experience rich seasons with cool fragrant springs, sunny green summers, crisp falls with spectacular colors and mild winters with occasional snow.

Temperatures are quite comfortable with summer days averaging in the mid eighties and nights dropping into the low sixties. Winters see days averaging in the low fifties and nights dipping into the low thirties.
